Secondary Schools

At St Mary’s, we support every student as they prepare for Year 7. Many of our students continue their education at local Catholic secondary schools, where Year Six students receive first enrolment priority if they are baptised Catholic and have completed their primary education at St Mary’s:

• Girls: Star of the Sea College, Gardenvale (Years 7–12)

• Boys: St Bede’s College, Mentone (Years 7–12)

• Boys: St Bede’s, Bentleigh East (Years 7–9)

We also have a number of students who choose to attend independent or private secondary schools. St Mary’s works closely with families and all secondary schools to provide guidance, support, and a smooth transition for every student, regardless of the school they choose.

All secondary enrolments still follow the relevant school’s enrolment policy and process, but our goal is to ensure students feel prepared, confident, and ready for the next stage of their learning journey.
